Hi, I'm Lanny Ealey.
EaleyImages is built around a simple idea: photography should feel natural, modern, and beautifully intentional. Based in Cary, NC, I focus on clean, editorial images with true-to-life color and thoughtful composition — whether that's a portrait session, a family gathered together, a senior marking a milestone, a brand telling its story, an event in full swing, or a home ready to be listed.
The goal on every session is the same: make the experience easy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable, so what comes through in the images is real.
Approach
Natural, not staged
Direction is gentle and collaborative — enough guidance to feel effortless, never stiff or overproduced.
True-to-life color
Editing is clean and restrained. Skin tones, light, and color stay honest to the moment, not buried under heavy filters.
Considered composition
Every frame is composed with intention, whether it's a single portrait or a full listing gallery.
A quick note on equipment: sessions are shot on professional Fujifilm cameras, including a medium-format body from the GFX system for real estate and listing work.
Around Town
Life outside the studio.
When I'm not on a session, I'm usually still out with a camera — downtown Raleigh, local farmers markets, wherever the Triangle is happening.
